The first one quit working after 3 months. The only thing that worked after 3 months was the clock. Hamilton Beach sent a replacement but made me pay the shipping cost. The replacement quit working after 5 weeks. I gave up and bought a different brand coffee maker. Hamilton Beach should be ashamed to sell anything that performs as poorly as this.

I like the concept and the ease of placing your mug against the button to get your coffee. But H.B. could greatly improve the overall quality and durability.

This is my second Brew Station. The first one quit working within the warranty period and Hamilton Beach was very accomodating and sent me a replacement machine instantly. Before the first one broke, the inside handle on the coffee bucket broke. Shortly after receiving the second model, the same handle broke within 5 months of owning it. I can manage without the handle, but it must be a design flaw.
The unit drips (one or two drops) coffee just after you remove your cup, and I've tried every suggestion Hamilton Beach offers to correct the situation. My friends who have this machine also experience drips. We've learned to just keep a towel under the front of the machine. Once the gasket stuck open and I had coffee pouring out, but that is rare.
It is easy to clean (few parts) and the company is great. The unit turns off automatically after 2 hours so no worries about leaving a burner on.

Pros: No glass carraf to break, nice single serving option, easy to clean.
Cons: Inside plastic handles break easily and it drips after the coffee pour.

More pros:
This coffee brewer does an great job on brewing the coffee and very convenient to just touch your cup against the dispense button. No mess, spilss or no carafe to clean like on the popular conventional brands.
More cons:
When this brand/model of brewer breaks down
out of warranty there are limited choices. One
cannot order parts and that is the situation for
other brands too.
However one needs to consider the initial purchase price of approximately $50.00 or more depending where you shop as opposed to a conventional brewer that can be found below $10,00 at times
One has to question the value of convience versus price especially a family on a budget.
Thanks
