I purchased a Brinkmann Pro Series Grill in May 2006. The regulator - with a "Passed" sticker on it - was defective. It took over six weeks to get Brinkmann to acknowledge the defect and commit to sending a replacement unit. This was after I followed their warranty process to a T - I had to fax my request to them THREE TIMES and write to them THREE MORE TIMES.

Forget calling them - their hold queue will keep you on hold for OVER AN HOUR.

I would have returned the whole thing to the store where I bought it, but once assembled it would not fit in my car, and I was not about to disassemble it. So, instead, I wrote to the store's management and asked them to consider just dropping Brinkmann products altogether. They're thinking about it.
Pros: Good buy, features, workmanship
Cons: God help you if you need warranty service

I've had a great experience this summer with my Brinkman grill. I didn't even pay the price you're showing because I caught mine on sale. The grill has proformed flawlessly. The assembly was not to difficult and it has held up great. I don't think this grill will look as good as it will proform long term. The side shelves look painted to me and not actually stainless steel. The rest of the unit has been sturdy and for the price I have gotten more then what I payed for. The stainless steel does stain pretty easily. Moving it is great with the sturdy wheels provided. I have purched several grills thoughout the years. For the price this ranks at the top. Happy Grilling !!!
Pros: Even temperature, large cooking space
Cons: Stainless steel stains to easily

I had purchased the Brinkmann 6330 and thought it was a great grill and a good deal for 198 at Walmart. This was my second grill purchase from Walmart (my first was the Char Broil for 119) they always seem to have good prices on things. Any way the regulator went out on the 6330 and froze up like an ice-berg from the regulator on up the hose. Well after being on hold for 45 min with Brinkmann they were gonna send me a new regulator, they were very helpful other than the hold time... But then I saw Walmart clearing out the 6430 which was one model up for 200 (reg 298$). I could not resist for only a 2 dollar difference in price. I went and exchanged to the new 6430 even after having used the 6330 (I had all my reciepts etc) and could not be happier. The 6430 has doors in front easier to change LP tanks out, the 6330 you have to do it from the side or back (a minor thing) but none the less easier on the 6430. Walmart is great I will keep shopping there they keep us happy and the grill is a great one for the price!
Pros: Decent construction and fairly easy to construct
Cons: None so far

Bought this at walmart for about 300 dollars. This is a great value for the money, and cooks great. Almost everything is stainless and only time will tell how it stands up to the weather as I do not plan on using a cover. It does everything I could ask for..
Pros: Large, holds a lot of food, Almost all stainless construction, side burner, cast iron/porcelin grates
Cons: none yet

I and my two friends all bought this model and the same condition exists on all three;. The grease always flows to the front of the grease pan and the cup is always empty.
Pros: good machine
Cons: grease trap

I just assembled my grill last week, and after following all the directions, even doing the stupid leak test, I turned it on and there was suddenly this awful smell as a coating that has been painted on to the metal bar in the back which supports the three main burners caught on fire. I turned off the grill and checked to make sure it wasn't some protective plastic that I had forgotten to remove. It is defintely a paint of some sort, it has a slightly textured matte finish and scrathes off a little with a finger nail. This grill was a wedding gift, so I have no reciept and I would hate to tell my friend the grief this grill has caused. It was purchased at Target, who will not allow me to return the grill without my friend's credit card (which I don't want to ask for). And even if I could return it, I would have to disassemble the damn thing to get it into my car. I have repeatly attempted to contact Brinkmann over the last week. When I call I have either gotten a busy signal or have been on hold for an hour at a time at which point I give up and hang up. I have tried contacting them through the Target Corp. but they have had no luck either. Today, determined to speak to someone, I stayed on hold for 73 minutes before getting a live person. This idiot told me he had never had a similar situation and so he didn't know what to do. I asked him if he had ever used the grill. He said yes, but I hadn't even told him yet which model I owned. When I reminded him of this he said Well, ma'm, I've seen most of the grills. SEEN most of the grills? Well, some of them he replied. It turns out he had never used or assembled any of them. He then said he would send me a replacement part. I asked him, well how am I supposed to install this part when this piece was already preinstalled by your company and wasn't included in the owner's instuction manual. He told me that when it arrived, IN A FEW WEEKS, I could call back to customer service and they would walk me through it. THE LAST THING I EVER WANT TO DO IS CALL THIER CUSTOMER SERVICE AGAIN! I asked to speak to a supervisor, but none were availble so he took my number and said he would have one call me back HOPEFULLY later today. Before hanging up, I had to remind him that he hadn't taken down my name yet. If it wasn't for my friend's feelings, this damn grill would be in a dumpster.
Pros: none, I can't turn it on becuase it catches on fire
Cons: metal attached to burners in main body of grill is catching on fire and customer service is impossible
